Gill found that combining principles of Yoga, Pilates, Alexander techinique, Contemporary dance and Isometric exercises with specific Pranayama breathing, produced the ultimate body toning and wellbeing program

‘I purposefully hadn’t done any exercise at all for eight weeks before the trial and felt very lethargic. I wanted to see the effects of the program on my own body. I toned 10 cm overall in six sessions.’

Gill Roncarelli is a professional Physical Theatre practitioner and choreographer and was Senior Lecturer and Head of Dance in Higher Education for over 20 years. Her qualifications include; a BA (Hons) degree in Psychology/Education from the University of Northumbria, a PGCE in Dance from the University of Central Lancashire, a Reiky 1 certificate and Shiatsu Massage qualification from the OM organisation in Pokhara Nepal, a Yoga Teacher Training certificate from the Nepal Yoga Home in Kathmandu and is also a qualified First Aider specialising in dance related injuries.

Roncametrics came about when Gill decided to work with physiotherapist Sophie Banks, to train others in her wellbeing program, in order to make it available in all areas of the UK.

How Does It Work?

How Does it Work?

Roncametrics uses exercises and asanas taken from Yoga, Pilates, Flow, Alexander Technique and resistance training, designed to enhance muscle definition throughout the body and increase endorphins to give a sense of physical and mental wellbeing. Through this program you will see a significant increase in muscle definition and tone, greatly increase your body’s energy and output and learn how to breath correctly dependent on the activity.

We do not endorse weight loss products, only healthy eating; if you want to lose weight and tone up, it’s simple – eat a nutritionally balanced diet and intake less calories than you output. Roncametrics is not a magic pill, it is not tied to any dietary plan, nor is it designed to reduce weight – it is designed to teach you how to best use your body to get what you want from it.

Classes are 75 minutes, twice a week for three weeks. It is crucial that all participants attend every session in order to see amazing results. Following the course there are weekly maintenance classes available for you to keep up the good work.

Intensive 3 Week Courses

Roncametrics Wellbeing Course

A six session course, twice weekly, for three weeks.

This course guarantees a change in your attitude towards your everyday movement and teaches you how to breath effectively so that the core is consciously activated outside of the sessions.

Learn how to relax muscle groups whilst activating others, learn how to stretch and flow energy around your body, learn how to maintain good posture and alignment in a stress- free way, learn how to laugh at ourselves when we assume we are all built in the same way and more importantly, given our incredibly busy lives, learn how to dedicate 3 hours a week to recharging our own batteries.

In every trial we have conducted, in the first session we have taken measurements of the  Bicep, Chest, Waist, Hips, Thigh and Calf and recorded them, then measured them again after the sixth session.

Each client who has completed the course reduced their measurements significantly. The norm is 10cm but in the 2016 trial, one client reduced 33cm.

The cost of this course is usually £90

Our Feedback

Our Feedback

In a recent trial of Roncametrics, 12 women aged between the ages of 22-55, all from different socio-economic backgrounds participated in one class over six sessions. These were their responses:

‘I’ve really felt my triceps and quads today at work as well as my abs! Loving it so far! I’ve actually got a waist!’ Jess (22)

‘I’d lost 7 stone through Slimming world but had come to a bit of a standstill. I continued with Slimming world and did the Roncametrics trial and lost 33 cm overall in six sessions. I can’t believe it! I’m a Ronca-liever!’ Abbie (26)

‘I honestly didn’t think I’d be strong enough to do it but I managed it and felt great. I’ve lost three inches off my waist. It’s brilliant! Grace (33)

‘This programme has been so good for me, I can’t stop talking about it to people. It’s transformed my shape, made me stronger both physically and mentally, I can’t get enough of it! I have abs! I keep saying to people ,’Feel my abs, look at my bum, it’s amazing!’ Steph (38)

‘I do a lot of exercise : ‘Spinning’ ‘Body Attack’, ‘Running,’ ‘Swimming’ ; everything I can really,  but I have never been able to tone my stomach and have always lacked muscle definition. I cannot believe that I have been exercising for so long without really understanding how my body works. Why did I not know this? My body has changed shape! I love it!’ Adele (33)

‘This has been great. I love the people and the approach and I am definitely more more toned, flexible and aware of how my body works. No matter how bad we all felt before a class we all came out feeling great!’ Sally (40)
